BOOKING A BERTH IN CAGLIARI

Cagliari’s harbor offers numerous berthing options for yachts and we are here to assist you booking the best for you.

Our favourite port and most popular for yachts is Portus Karalis:sure the most comfortable marina of southern Sardinia. Berths 140 in the inner harbor of Cagliari, offers berthing for larger yachts and super yachts, right in the city center. Portus Karalis offers all the main facilities for a safe and comfortable stay, such as wi-fi and a complete logistic assistance (Shipyard services, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, electric, hydric and electronic plants, coachwork and carpentry, upholstery).

For smaller yachts and chasing boats we also suggest

Marina Piccola Poetto 4 NM SE of Cagliari.A great drop off point for guests as it’s pretty small. Inside the breakwaters are pontoons with berths for 350, including 35 for vessels in transit.

IS CAGLIARI AND THE SOUTH OF THE ISLAND WORTH VISITING?

The answer is yes and here's why!

From Cagliari's office we will assist you during your sailing, we are in a strategic position in the center of the Mediterranean, key stop especially for those travelling from the Balearics towards Sicily, Croatia, Tunisia or Thurkey. One can stop bunkering in Sant'Antioco, Cagliari or Villasimius on the way east.

Take time to walk throws narrow, shabby, vibrant streets and have a look at the art nouveau architecture and monuments in the old town Castello. Large parts of the old system of towers and bastions, built to protect the town, are still remaining and today are full of attractions. Get lost along Cagliari’s picturesque historical districts with sea views, its elegant shopping streets and panoramic terraces, including the bastione di Santa Croce, with great views for a romantic evening. The heart and soul of nightlife, as on ancient times, in the Castello area, on its highest hill full lined by grand old homes as Palazzo Regio and Palazzo di Città, offers fine restaurants and club to join a perfect Mediterranean evening.

The strategic position has made it a port hub, Cagliari can also provide the best shopping and provisions to continue your trip and it is only 136nms from Bizerte for those wishing to travel to Tunisia.
