COVID-19 UPDATE: COUNTERORDER! NO COVID-19 TESTS REQUIRED FOR ARRIVAL IN SARDINIA

Covid-19

Dear All,

the last Sardinia Regional Decree n. 43 of the 14th of September 2020 (explained in our last Nautica Assistance newsletter of the 14/09/2020) has been declared partially not valid by the Italian Government.

Therefore please note that NO COVID-19 tests are required to arrive in Sardinia starting from this moment and until any further notice (unless coming from Malta, Greece, Spain and Croatia , countries for which a Covid- 19 swab test is still required and needs to be done within 72 hours prior arrival).

To anyone arriving to Sardinia it is still required though to wear a protective masks 24 hours a day in closed areas and also in open areas where it is not possible to respect 1 meter of safe distance as per Covid-19 measurements. Kids under 6 YO and disabled people are exempt from this.

All visitors (crew and guests) are still required to complete a specific self-certification and registration online on the Sardinia Region website prior arrival through the  following link https://sus.regione.sardegna.it/sus/covid19/regimbarco/init, prior arrival.

All people that would like to be tested upon arrival for a personal check can still ask for our assistance.
Nautica Assistance is able to assist all yachts with the following test possibilities:

- rapid antigen swab test (results in approx 30 minutes)
- qualitative rapid test (results within 1 day)
- quantitative serological blood test (results in 24/48 hours)
- molecular swab test (results in 4/ 5 working days)

We remain at your complete disposal in case of any further necessary information.

Best regards,

Nautica Assistance Team
