Top Dive Spots
The Bank of the Pope (17–40m)
One of the most spectacular dives in the Med. A reef rising from 40 to 16 meters, near Tavolara’s Punta Papa. Expect groupers, dentex, breams, moray eels, crabs, nudibranchs, and colorful gorgonians. For experienced divers only.
Teddja Liscia (9–40m)
A vertical wall dive along Tavolara’s southern coast. From shallow ledges to deep blocks and sea caves, it’s a paradise for groupers, reef life, and fans of underwater photography. Don’t forget to say goodbye to the grouper on the "balcony"!
L’Archetto (7–40m)
Named after a small arch on Tavolara’s wall — visible even underwater. Look out for breams, moray eels, octopus, and the beautiful Alicia Mirabilis, especially on night dives. Rich Posidonia beds and white gorgonians complete the scene.
The Elephant Bank (18–30m)
Massive underwater rock formations, a 1700s anchor, and a passage through the elephant-shaped rock. A magical place with barracuda, brown meagre, spider crabs, slipper lobsters, and the occasional surprise.
Marine Life You Might Spot
Groupers, Dentex, Brown Meagre, Rainbow Wrasse, Octopus, Slipper Lobsters, Nudibranchs… No sharks, no stress. Just beauty.
