CAPO TESTA-PUNTA FALCONE MARINE PROTECTED AREA:

- Anchoring is not permitted in Zone A.
- Anchoring for boats and pleasure craft is allowed in Zones B, Bs, and C exclusively on sandy or pebble bottoms within the areas designated by the managing authority:

a) Santa Reparata (Zone B)
b) La Balcaccia (Zone B)
c) La Marmorata (Zona B)
d) Cala Sambuco (Zona B)
e) Rena Bianca (Zona Bs)
a) La Licciola (Zona C)

Below are attached maps indicating the permitted anchoring zones.

In accordance with Article 15 of the aforementioned Regulations, anchoring is subject to the payment of administrative fees.

Anchoring of nautical units over 12 meters in overall length (L.O.A.)

- Daily fee: €30.00
- Weekly fee: €50.00
- Monthly fee: €80.00
- Annual fee: €200.00

GENERAL RESTRICTIONS IN SARDINIA:
- Navigation within 200 m from the coast (Please note that the limit is never specified)
- Anchoring within 200 m from the coast
- 10 knots speed limit within 1 km from the coast
- Running any craft within 200 m from the coast with engines on
- Tying lines to rocks
- Towing unless authorised or in case of emergency
- Jet Skis between 200 and 1000m from the coast during summer period, with speed limits as per Jet skies and Water toys regulations attached

LA MADDALENA'S PARK AREA:

- Anchorage restriction as per Marine Protected Area of La Maddalena, stay 300 m away from the coast in MB areas, and 100m from the rocks.
- Jet skies and water toys are allowed in La Maddalena's park at a speed of 7 knots (better avoiding them).
- Fishing regulations as per La Maddalena's Park.

Anchoring (May 1st – October 31th)
- Anchoring outside buoy fields is allowed from 8:00 am until 9:00 pm.
- Resident-owned boats with sewage collection systems may anchor at any time.
- Anchoring is only permitted on sandy seabeds, avoiding Posidonia oceanica meadows.

Anchoring Restrictions
- Zone Ma: Anchoring is strictly prohibited.
- Night Anchoring Ban (9:00 pm – 8:00 am): Applies to all recreational vessels, including rental, sailing schools, diving, and snorkeling activities.
- Cala di Roto (Pink Beach): No anchoring, stopping, bathing, diving, or stepping on the beach. Passage is only allowed at a maximum speed of 3 knots.
- Cavalieri Beach: No access by boat or foot in the area defined by coordinates 41°17'10.51''N; 9°21'33.41''E and 41°17'12.41''N; 9°21'27.99''E. This includes the backdune pond and Mediterranean scrubland behind the beach.

Fines & Penalties
- Violations of these rules may result in fines from €276 to €1,377 (reduced payment: €459).
- If the violation involves a commercial vessel, fines increase by one-third (reduced payment: €596).
- Repeated violations within 90 days may lead to a 7-day suspension of commercial activity.
- Serious violations causing damage to Park Authority infrastructure may result in additional compensation claims.

Buoy Camps
- Recreational boats mooring in privately managed buoy camps can stay overnight.
- Mooring buoys designated for passenger transport vessels cannot be used by recreational boats. These buoys are marked accordingly.

National Park Entrance Ticket
- From May 1st to October 31st boat owners and captains are required to obtain a National Park entrance ticket to sail within the marine area. In case of accessing the Park area without the proper ticket, you must regularise your position by paying an additional 40% charge to the Park sea crew.
- From November 1st to April 30th, the ticket is not required.

Speed Limits for Boats
- Beyond 300m from shore: Max speed 15 knots
- Within 300m from shore: Max speed 7 knots

Please respect these rules to help preserve the marine environment of La Maddalena Archipelago National Park.

 PORTO CERVO AREA:

- ISPS is required in Porto Cervo Port for boats exceeding 500 tonnes for commercial yachts

- Buoy usage is required in the buoy camps located at Pevero and Cala di Volpe, in accordance with the coordinates outlined in the attached regulations.

- Anchoring is forbidden inside the buoy camps. Anchoring is permitted at 200 mt from the last buoy.

- Towing of jet skis and water toys is not permitted within the water areas of these buoy camps. Please refer to the attached regulations for further information.

- Buoy usage is required in the buoy camps located at Cala di Volpe, in accordance with the coordinates outlined in the attached regulations.

- Anchoring is forbidden inside the buoy camps. Anchoring is permitted at 200 mt from the last buoy.

- Towing of jet skis and water toys is not permitted within the water areas of these buoy camps. Please refer to the attached regulations for further information.

PORTISCO AREA:

- ISPS is required in Portisco Port for commercial boats exceeding 500 tonnes.
- No jet skis restrictions

PORTO ROTONDO AREA:

- It is prohibited to anchor at less then 200 metres from the Marinella Buoy Camp.
- The use of jet skis and similar watercraft is prohibited within the Marinella Buoy Camp.

1) Zone A - MARINE RESERVE

The following activities are permitted in Zone “A”:
- Entrance to the area by Marine Area staff and authorized researchers present for scientific purposes;
- Guided underwater visits, authorized by Marine Area management, in areas with established routes, keeping in mind the sensibility of the environment.

The following activities are prohibited in Zone “A”:
- Swimming or bathing; - Professional or sport fishing;
- The use of water craft (except official Marine Protected Area craft).

2) Zone B - GENERAL RESERVE

The following activities are permitted in Zone “B”:
- The use of boats and other water craft at a speed of under 10 knots; - Underwater visits, following the rules of the Protected Marine Area;
- Swimming or bathing;
- Mooring to berths installed by the Area managing authority;
- Professional fishing by residents of towns bordering the Protected Marine Area within regulated weight limits by using environmentally sensitive equipment.

The following activities are prohibited in Zone “B”:
- Trawling and similar fishing techniques;
- Sport fishing. 3)

Zone C - PARTIAL RESERVE

The following activities are permitted in Zone “C”:
- Transit of boats and crafts;
- Mooring to berths installed by Area management;
- Underwater diving (while respecting the surroundings);
- Professional fishing by residents of towns bordering the Protected Marine Area within regulated weight limits by using environmentally sensitive equipment;
- Sport fishing, with the following equipment:
A) Fishing rods, lines, hooks, natural and artificial bait – not more than one per person, maximum three fish hooks
B) Handline: no more than one per person, maximum six fish hooks;
C) Trolling: no more than one per boat.

Jet Skis and similar, and water sports involving towing equipment are prohibited. Regarding electric water toys, regulations must comply with the ordinance issued by the competent Port Authority.

Olbia is a commercial port where vessels over 500 GT must obtain authorization from the Port Authority (VHF 16) and port pilots (VHF 12) before navigating the channel upon arrival and departure. The maximum speed permitted in the channel is 8 knots. Additionally, a speed limit of 8 knots applies within 500 meters of the coast, while in ports or in the roadstead with vessels at anchor, the speed limit is 3 knots. If wind intensity exceeds 20 knots, all yachts of 500 GT or more are required to use towing services for mooring and unmooring. 

CALA GONONE & BAUNEI AREA:

- No Marine Protected Area in Cala Gonone area; therefore, no restrictions for yachts.

- Navigating, stopping and bathing in Piscine di Venere, as well as any other activity connected to the public use of the sea, are forbidden up to a distance of 30m from the coast.

- Direct access to Cala Goloritzè beach is forbidden. Please anchor at 200mt (delimited by a line of buoys).
