Spanish tower Lazzaretto (XVII century) stands on the right and low rocky promontory overwhelmed by low cliffs, bordering, S, Lazzaretto cala. Anchor in 14 m off Lazzaretto and Le Bombarde beach, which are the most enchanting ones of the NW coast. They have fine white sand and surrounded by dark red volcanic rocks and Mediterranean maquis.Le Bombarde Beach is a small bay between the rocks. Less than 1 km long, the beach is a few dozen metres wide. It slopes towards the water, which deepens just a few metres from shore. The water is almost always calm, crystal-clear, and always quite cold. There is a sandy bottom with numerous rocks emerging, especially at the two ends. The sand is fine and very white. Extremely popular among young people who tend to congregate near the bar, making the beach more "livable" towards the sides. Behind the beach there is a dense pine and eucalyptus woods.

Show in map open linkCapo Caccia is the S tip of a long, narrow and massive peninsula bordered by cliffs. It is characteristic by its dark color and its 169 m high cliff, dominated by a lighthouse beacon wich is visible up to 34 NM, white tower on white house with two floors.
An old semaphore is 0.4 NM, N lighthouse on the W shore. With Punta Giglio, it closes the gulf of Porto Conte. It is part of the AMP Capo Caccia / I. Piana. On the site of Capo Caccia, there is the famous Nereo Cave.Cala del Bollo is S Punta del Quadro. You can anchor in 5/7 m in front of the "Hotel del Capo Caccia," but the anchorage is not well protected from the swell between S. If the weather makes the anchorage uncomfortable, you can go a little more N in cala Tramariglio.

Show in map open linkThis small cove close, N of del Buru tower, offers a small beach of a few meters and a small dock to accommodate tour boats in the bay of Porto Conte and cave Nettuno. Anchorage between 6 and 14 m protected from the head of Bollo.
At the foot of the Capo Caccia cliffs, nestled in Mediterranean scrub, lies Cala Dragunara (Dragunara Cove). Close to the cove can be found the Grotta della Medusa (Medusa's Grotto), in which Neolithic artifacts have been discovered, and the Inghiotitoio di Dragunara (Dragunara Ponor). From the Cala Dragunara – above which stands the Bollo tower – there is ferry service to Neptune's Grotto.GENERAL RESTRICTIONS:

Porto Ferru (or Porto Ferro) is a deep inlet which each entry points carries a tower. S tower Bandine Sale half-ruined little apparent, N Negra tower clearly visible and a third tower, torre Bianca. The sandy beach stretches about 2 km. This cove is popular with surfers and windsurfers. You can anchor by 6 m on sandy bottom.GENERAL RESTRICTIONS:

Porto S. Nicolo dell'Argentiera is a small cove NE of the cape, where we see an isolated church on a hill and facilities for operating mine. Well protected from N NE winds. Un small jetty can disembark by 0.50 to 2 m of water. There are about 250 berths, but there is no service. You can anchor in the middle of the cove by 10 to 12 m of water. Piana Island (23 m high) can ideally be considered as the link between Stintino Peninsula, bordered to the north by Capo Falcone and the island of Asinara. Its name comes from the flatness and surface low and steady. It is close to nearby beaches of Pelosa and Pelosetta, of Stintino. The island is bordered to the NE, by the small island called La Pelosa, which houses a tower dating from the late sixteenth century, the destination of many swimmers who flock to the beach of the same name Stintino.GENERAL RESTRICTIONS:

This stunning anchorage with unbelieavibly clear watergives protection from the prevalent winds, but a good part is too shallow for big yachts. The best area to anchor is South of Isola Piana where there is enough space for the anchor chain swing and depth is minimum 5 mts.
It is one of the most renowned beach in Sardinia. A breathtaking sandy white beach with crystal water overlooking the famous Pelosa and Falcone Towers.
It is located 2 km from Stintino, at the bottom of Capo Falcone, northern extremity of the island, close to the small fishing village. The sand is extraordinarily white and thin and it is characterized by the seventeenth-century tower of La Pelosa. Just in front of it rises the Asinara island, ex penitentiary and now park, which has become the destination of numerous tourists.
