Application for Commercial Use of EU and not EU Yachts in Italian Waters
To be sent along with:
a) Copy of flag certificate
b) Copy of the certificate issued by Flag Registry detailing the safety requirements of the yacht (safety certificate) ;
c) Copy of PI insurance policy
d) Charter agreement
e) Registry
f) Captain's passport
g) Updated crew list
Application must be submitted in two copies: one copy will be returned noting the activity carried out by the yacht.

Clearance IN/OUT
Commercial Yachts with ExtraEu or Off Shore Flag entering Italian Waters have to do the Clearance In/Out, only for boats over 24 m, under 24 m is not compulsory.
Docs needed:- Arrival & Departure Forms signed and stamped (see form attached)
- Certificate of Registry
- Crew List
- Guest List
- Insurance
- Port List (see form attached)
- Ship Sanitation Control exemption certificate
- Medaire /Medical Certificate
- List of medicines on board
- Docs for board Sanitary Requirements (yacht with non Italian flag coming to the following areas: Olbia, Porto Torres, La Maddalena, related Capitaneries, Bosa Marina)
- *to be added also the Arrival doc AT ANCHOR in case the boat is not entering a port but staying at anchor
Once the clearance is done and the port list is provided, when the yacht is moving from an anchorage or port to another a communication of movement must be done to the capitanery.

Private Yachts with Extra Eu or Off Shore Flag entering Italy has to do the Costituto, only for boats over 24 m, under 24 m is not compulsory.
Docs Needed:
- Captain Costituto Request Form signed and stamped (see attached) OR Costituto at Anchor Request Form in case the boat is not entering a port but staying at anchor(see attached)
- Certificate of Registry
- Crew List
- Guest List
- Insurance
- Captain Passport scanned copy

Covid 19- Sanitation Documents for Health Maritime Office
All yachts entering Sardinia have to present:
- Maritime Health Declaration
- Free Sanitary Practice, for all boat coming from EXTRA EU countries
- Negative PCR tests results for COVID-19 done 48 hours prior entering Italy or vaccination certificate
- ONLY GUESTS AT THEIR FIRST ARRIVAL IN ITALY WITH EVERY MEAN OF TRANSPORTATION - Compulsory registration to the European Passenger Locator Form (PLF) https://www.salute.gov.it/portale/nuovocoronavirus/dettaglioContenutiNuovoCoronavirus.jsp?lingua=italiano&id=5411&area=nuovoCoronavirus&menu=vuoto&tab=10
Other Sanitation Documents (not compulsory as private yacht, but recommended):
• MEDAIRE/MEDICAL CHEST CERTIFICATE
• list of medicines on board with specification of expiry date
• SHIP SANITATION CONTROL EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE. In case you want to have it as additional docs, we could make arrangements for it. -
Cash declaration

Cash declaration
Private and Commercial Yachts with any flag entering Italian Waters has to do the Cash Declaration if carry onboard in the yacht safe an amount equal to or greater than € 10.000.
Docs Needed:- Cash Declaration Form signed and stamped (see form attached)
- Captain Passport
- Certificate of Registry

Garbage Declaration

Garbage Declaration
Garbage Declaration is compulsory for Commercial Yachts > 400gt
Please fill in the Garbage declaration form at your arrival in Sardinian waters and forward it to your dedicated NA Agent. -
ISPS Communication

ISPS Communication
Commercial Yachts any flag entering a Port or an Official Anchorage must to do the ISPS Communication if gross tonnage is equal to or greater than 500 tons.
Docs Needed:
- ISPS Pre-Arrival Form - to be forwarded to Authorities 24h before arrival - (see attached)
- Declaration of Security
- Certificate of Registry
- Crew List
- Guest List
- Insurance
