VERY SECURE ISLAND FROM ANY POINT OF VIEW
According to The National Institute for Statistics, Sardinia is one of the regions of Italy with the lowest crime rate, making it one of the safest areas of Italy. It is placed third from last, out of the twenty Italian regions. The crime rate of Sardinia is several times lower than the Italian average.

THE DEEP FJORD OF OLBIA GUARANTEES GREAT PROCTETION FROM ANY WEATHER
The port of Olbia is a natural port open only on the East side and the bay runs for 4 NM inside. This offers particular protection to any wind and swell making this yachting hub one of the safest in the Mediterranean. Marina di Olbia (MOYS) in particular offers in the winter months a real safe, clean harbor, very close to the airport, just 5 minutes by car. The new tourist port, already operational since May 2009, develops in harmony with the natural conformation of the coast, in a particularly fortunate stretch within the deep natural gulf of Olbia. Open all year round, it has 270 berths for yachts up to 80 meters in length and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to facilitate docking. In addition to the shipyards and all the nautical services already present in Olbia, crews and owners will be able to count on a series of new dedicated structures: control tower, refueling station, technical and bureaucratic assistance centers. The project also includes a wide choice of shops, clubs, services and leisure opportunities that are always available; all aspects that make the new marina also interesting as a permanent mooring, due to its secluded yet "urban" nature.

ADVANCED SHIPYARDS
Among the Olbia shipyards we find 13 travel lifts with a maximum of 820 Tons, cranes, hydraulic trolleys, large yards and covered areas, master assistance from the largest manufacturers of engines and accessories for boating. Several areas with space up to 70,000 sqm, between exteriors and interiors, where you can keep yachts in storage during the winter. Shipyards equipped with all the equipment for winging and transporting from the smallest to the largest boats for boats up to 70 meters.

WE ARE ONE OF THE SAFEST REGION IN ITALY AND THE MED
Sardinia as an island and given the low demographic rate, enjoyed a truly fortunate situation during the entire lock down phase last winter, boasting very few numbers of COVID- 19 infections in spite of national and European as well as international statistics. We are very confident that Sardinia, like last winter, can be declared a truly happy and safe island in this sense too. At the moment Sardinia, along with a few other Italian regions, is marked as a yellow region or with a very low urgency index.

CENTER OF THE MEDITERRANEAN
Sardinia, perfectly located in the center of the Mediterranean, will be a perfect starting point for the summer season and for any charter even for a few days at any time the weather conditions allow. Moreover Sardinia is connected to mainland daily through ferries that travel direct to Livorno, Genoa and Civitavecchia. There are also several routes to Corsica. National daily flights to Rome and Milan from Olbia during winter time.

THE CHARM OF A LAND TO DISCOVER
In the winter months Sardinia is land for selected few. An island to be discovered in its most hidden corners. Those who live in Sardinia, far from the summer months are absolutely struck, in love, bewitched. Sardinia as a mysterious woman reveals little by little, and whoever knows her in her true intimacy will hardly stay too far from it. For lovers of nature, traditions and the most intrepid, our island offers truly unique and surprising scenarios and situations. In addition to the largest number of the most beautiful beaches in Italy, Sardinia is an island that stands out in the world for its records and awards. Among these we mention: the highest sand dunes in Italy, the longest cave in Italy, men and women over one hundred years old, millennial trees, millions of sheep. Sardinia is also an ideal land for rallies. Our Island in 2014 put down a record with 8 rallies scheduled in its streets, so it is no less for passionate motorcyclists. Not only Sardinia is a land of ancestral culinary traditions for tasting paths of flavors, that come from centuries of history, but also a land of very special energies; perhaps given by the antiquity of its Nuraghi, unique in the world, for its endemic medical herbs and the surprising colors of which each season is painted. A micro-continent in an island, to be discovered.
Our team is ready to get you a fast quote from marina and shipyards in case you would like to compare prices and evaluate the possibility of spending your 2021 winter in our island. If this is not your plan at all for the moment, we would be really curious to know what you think would be the most important factor to make Sardinia your winter base in a future chance.
