APULIA: A NEW YACHT DESTINATION

Yacht Itineraries

Like many other European countries, Italy is well recognized as a country with strong values, like family, food, arts and traditions. Around these points every Italian organizes his/ her own life, and with not much of self consciousness his/her choices in life will be driven by these values.
It is part of Italian culture, it is how we grow up and we educate our children, it is just the way we are. We are internationally known as a people who always search for the good life, with the perfect balance between work and fun, with the dolce vita as the best example to make our living. This culture, this philosophy, this lifestyle are present in everything we do, in every corner of our cities and villages, in every moment of our life.

As yacht captain or charter broker or yacht owner you may be in search of new inspirational itineraries for the coming summer 2023. Perhaps your mind is searching for the perfect place where to eat some spaghetti al pomodoro e basilico under the shade of a lemon tree, to drive a cinquecento through the narrow historical roads of a village with the clothes hanging from the balconies or where to take a real espresso coffee in a piazza where the elderly people sits chatting under the sun or under the shade of a fig tree.
Perhaps the place you are looking for is Apulia.

This amazing and authentic Italian region is becoming a new glamor destination on the rise among the preferences of many yacht clients.

Apulia Yacht Assistance (AYA shortly),  the new born project of Nautica Assistance (nayacht.com) in partnership with Marine Shore Assistance (msayacht.com) launched last year during the Myba Boat Show 2022, and with great results collected during last summer in the Apulia region of Southern Italy, with a main office in Brindisi, is extremely happy to move on towards a new yachting season.

Summer 2023 is expected to be even busier than the last one during which a growing number of yachts and their guests explored the unspoilt beauty of Apulia.
A fact: the clients’ feedback about Apulia, which we received during the Summer season 2022, are full of excitement and enthusiasm, and they won't miss the opportunity to come back on the discovery of the new yachting destination.

What is the history and origins of the project AYA? (MSA Yacht and NA collaboration)

If you are still querying what AYA is, we would like to tell you a brief history of this project. AYA is a fruit of collaboration between two Italian yacht agencies Marine Shore Assistance (msayacht.com) and Nautica Assistance  (nayacht.com).  Both agencies can boast of a long-time experience in the yachting industry and their shared love towards the Italian land and its traditions. Precisely these two ingredients have contributed to the birth of a new project, Apulia Yacht Assistance, with the purpose of bringing superyachts and their discerning clients to Apulia, the land of the rising sun, pristine landscape and authentic Italian experiences which has already been included as a top destination by many VIPs and influencers of the world.

The region has an incredible list of historical monuments, simply integrated in the stunning towns that are perfectly kept since they were built. You can walk through the streets of simple villages like Martina Franca, or Fasano or Locorotondo, and realize you are walking on stones old centuries, and still in perfect conditions. You can sneak from a window of one of the houses and see a mama making some panzerotti or orecchiette. You can see an old man taking the wild chicory from his own yard to make a natural and flavored meal. You can find yourself surrounded by beauty exploring the magic town of Alberobello, where you will find a real hidden neighborhood of Trulli, in the midst of which stands the first of the buildings declared a World Heritage Site, the so-called Trullo Sovrano.
